Inclement Weather Guidance
Winter weather has arrived and will likely appear in the forecast on a regular basis. The following is our inclement weather guidance:
Telework, as an option, is permitted when it is needed and applicable. The BNH telework policy will apply and includes the requirement that effective work can be accomplished and verifiable while in a telework status.
Official closures or delays for AEDC will be communicated via AtHoc by the AEDC Operations Center. In that instance, a follow-up message will be sent out from BNH Communications with further instructions for our workforce.
All team members should prioritize safety and use good judgment when deciding whether to commute to work in severe weather. Exercise extreme caution when traveling between work buildings/locations, both while driving and walking. If employees decide to stay home or delay reporting for work due to severe weather, they must enter Paid Time Off or Vacation on their time record or coordinate with their supervisor to make up their time within the pay period if possible.
