When will I receive a job offer?
BNH’s goal is to send job offers to incumbents starting February 15, 2026. Anyone who meets the January 23, 2026, application deadline should have an offer in hand by the end of February.
Benefits
Will BNH provide the same medical coverage as our current employer?
BNH is currently reviewing your current health and welfare benefits coverage to determine the best solutions.
Will BNH honor our service dates?
Yes, BNH will honor the service date provided by your current employer.
Does BNH offer a 401(k)-retirement plan?
The BNH Employees Savings Plan provides eligible exempt and non-exempt employees a non-contributory contribution (referred to as “Base” or “Base Points”) as well as a matching contribution. BNH will contribute a Base Points contribution of 2-5% of an employee’s pay regardless of whether the employee is contributing to the plan. The Base contribution is based on an employee’s age plus years of service. In addition, BNH will provide matching contributions for plan participation equal to 50% of the first 8% of pay for a maximum of up to 4% of pay.
Part-time employees are also eligible to make deferrals but must meet 1,000 hours of service during a 12-month period to become eligible to receive matching and non-contributory contributions.
Newly eligible employees are automatically enrolled in the 401(k) plan at a 5% contribution rate. Contributions are initially invested in the plan’s Qualified Default Investment Alternative (QDIA). An automatic escalation feature increases contributions by 1% annually, up to a maximum of 10%. Employees may opt out of automatic enrollment and/or automatic escalation at any time. They may also choose alternative investment options instead of the default.
Paid Time Off
Will my paid absence balance(s) carry over?
BNH is working with RT&T to determine feasibility of carryover of PTO, vacation, and/or sick leave.
Does BNH offer paid time off for bereavement? Jury duty?
Bereavement leave of up to 3 days with pay may be granted to assist with funeral arrangements, settling the estate, and other activities in connection with the death of an immediate family member.
Employees who have been called to be selected or to serve on a jury impaneled by a civil authority are authorized time off and will be compensated their BNH base pay rates less any stipend received if such payment was in excess of $50 per day for up to 5 days or in accordance with state law, whichever is greater.
How many holidays does BNH provide?
BNH provides 11 paid 8-hour holidays per fiscal year to regular and modified full-time exempt employees. Non-exempt employees are eligible for the number of holidays defined in the applicable SCA wage determination for their work location. Holiday benefits greater than the number listed above will be allocated as a floating holiday unless otherwise noted.
Employees working an alternate work schedule will receive 8 hours of holiday pay if a recognized holiday falls on the employees’ day off, e.g., holiday falls on an off Friday for employees working a 9/80 schedule (EDO). The day a holiday is observed will not be changed to accommodate an additional day off.
