Ms. Sharon Shirley brings over 30 years of combined experience in earned value management and business operations on Department of Energy (DOE) projects such as, environmental cleanup, closure and decontamination and decommissioning projects at multiple sites across the United States. This includes the Oak Ridge, Hanford, Fernald Environmental Cleanup Project, Savannah River American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) project, Portsmouth, OH D&D Project and the Depleted Uranium Hexafluoride (DUF6) Project. She has moved through the project controls ranks and played a large part in the planning and development of the Ten-Year Plan to complete remediation and closure of the Fernald site. Her project controls career continued at the Savannah River Site where she played a major part in delivering $1.4B of life cycle return on investments to DOE by completing the remediation and closure of several reactors and other projects in a 30-month period. All within the established cost and schedule baseline thresholds. She continued to expand her career into the CFO/Business Management discipline with her leadership of the business functions at the Fluor-BWXT D&D Project and the DUF6 Project. She was the Fluor project manager for the DUF6 Project in Lexington, KY. Other assignments in Contracts and Supply Chain, Finance and Human Resources has rounded out her career and provides her with the key elements of a well-rounded leader. Her willingness to take on challenging roles throughout her career has gained her recognition throughout the Fluor and DOE Complex.
